Oh, this wedding day!! What a beautiful, snowy February dream! We met Eric and Rebekah at church and are thankful that they have become our friends. They are such a fun couple and their personalities really did shine on their special day!
Rebekah wanted snow in the portraits and while it didn’t snow on their wedding day, it was a cold day with fresh snow on the ground. The elegant architecture and scenery at their venue, Stonebrook Manor, made for gorgeous backdrops in their portraits.
Eric and Rebekah had some really unique aspects in their wedding, as they are Messianic. Woven throughout their ceremony and reception were really meaningful Messianic customs and traditions such as the chuppah they had made to say their vows under. They also had some Messianic dancing such as the wedding or “war” dance and they even were lifted in chairs! It all super fun to capture!!
Another unique detail in Eric and Rebekah’s wedding was, in lieu of a traditional flower girl role, Rebekah had her family friend- whom she helped caretake for-, be a “fairy godmother” and toss petals down the aisle before Rebekah made her grand entrance. We also got to do a first look with her fairy godmother and the pictures are just the absolute sweetest!!
Throughout our bride and groom portrait time, Eric made Rebekah laugh a lot and seeing that genuine, joyful smile on Rebekah’s face was the best! You’ll know what I mean if you scroll through their collection of portraits. Both of their smiles are just absolutely contagious!
Rebekah and Eric, we were so incredibly honored and thrilled to be your wedding photographers! We wish you a lifetime of love, joy, and blessings!
